This licence is an agreement between you and MarshalX (https://marshalx.dev), the maker of the Apsis typeface. Installing or using the Apsis font files means you accept it.
The font is licensed to you, not sold. MarshalX keeps the copyright in the font software and every right this licence does not give you.
1. WHO IT COVERS
"You" is the person or company named on the purchase. A company's licence covers its employees, and contractors working on the company's own projects.
2. WHAT EVERY LICENCE ALLOWS
- Installing the fonts on up to 5 computers.
- Using them in anything printed, still or filmed: documents, posters, packaging, signs, clothing and merchandise, social media posts, presentations, videos and broadcasts.
- Using them in logos and brand names, other than those in section 5.
- Using the web fonts (WOFF2, WOFF) on websites you own, or that you run for one client, loaded with CSS @font-face from your own server. You may subset them for this.
- Embedding them in PDFs and other documents, provided they cannot be extracted from the document and installed.
- Making work with them for a client. The client needs a licence of their own only to install the fonts or edit the source files themselves.
3. WHAT NEEDS THE EXTENDED LICENCE
- Installing the fonts on more than 5 computers. The Extended licence covers every computer in one company.
- Embedding the fonts in an app, a game or an e-book, for any device.
- Products for sale in which the buyer sets their own text in Apsis: editable templates, personalised products, print-on-demand tools and the like.
4. WHAT NO LICENCE ALLOWS
- Giving, selling, lending or sharing the font files, or putting them anywhere others can download them, such as a public repository or a shared folder.
- Changing the fonts, or using them, or any part of their outlines, to make another typeface.
- Using the fonts, or images of them, to train software that generates typefaces.
5. MARSHALX'S OWN BRANDS
You may not use Apsis to make a name, logo or product that copies or imitates MarshalX, Fluxora, Back Pocket, Omni Bridge, ProvenanceX or any other MarshalX product, could be mistaken for one of them, or suggests that MarshalX made or endorses your work. This licence gives no right to any MarshalX name or logo.
6. HOW LONG IT LASTS
The licence lasts for as long as you keep to it. If you break it, it ends, and you must delete every copy of the fonts. Work you published while the licence was in force may stay published.
7. NO WARRANTY
The fonts are provided as they are. MarshalX is not liable for any loss arising from their use beyond the price you paid for this licence.
8. LAW
This licence is governed by the laws of India.
